WTF?

Sometimes things just happen for a reason or was this an accident?...

hmmm...

Since we got back I've been feeling great (well I did have a small flu). I "lost" all my allergies in Africa :)

I've even been doing BIG tests where I eat and drink the stuff that usually makes me sick: normal milk, dark bread, apples, tomatoes etc.

I still feel great :)

Was it Africa that cured me?
Or was it something else that Finally happened?

...and why does my son love to kick me in the bladder ALL the time :D
He's so sweet when he reminds me of himself.
Yes. I still forget him every now and then... sorry. He's just not that heavy All the time. And he's not in my way either...

Finally

Finally the big anatomy test is done, my flu is slowly going away and by the time I'm home I'll still have time too cook up a huge pot of meat&pasta... Aah, the joy of living :)

And I think I'm "30 weeks" now so I might even start to remember that this will "end" some day... The Belly will be a Boy and my abs will be mine again <3 I miss my normal body... It's so much nicer then this balloon version.

We're back from Suid-Afrika

Yes, we're back :)

Baby loved it, I loved it, everybody loved it... and now all we have is our memories <3

29 weeks :)
My legs sure didn't love flying (first 2,5h and then 10,5h and that's just ONE way)... we left home early on a Saturday and we were finally at the safari LATE Sunday night. It took me DAYS to get my legs normal (we spent too many days in cars and I got tired if I walked too much). 

Back at home (this Monday) it only took me about 2 days to get rid of the bloated feeling and "olifant" legs ;)

I'll share some pics later but there's really nothing to tell about my work outs since I HAVEN'T DONE ANY :( 
It's exam weeks at school so I'm not training this week either... 2 weeks of rest. How will I manage?
Even the baby is in wonderment.

Gone fishing

I'm taking my honey and bunny and flying under a different sky (different stars!).
I'll be back after my birthday and Easter...

'til then here's some front squats with 50kg.

I'm about 64kg (28 weeks preg.)


I warmed up with 40kg but "just had to try it" a bit heavier...
Not as low as I would like it... I think I'll stick to 45kg for now...

No rush. Baby first ;)

Dead B.

Last night I found it...
The smell of sweet death had been following me around for a week now.
At the gym everything smelled like bananas.

Last night I cleaned my gym bag and found the body.

One of my recovery bananas had died. (...forgotten)

Its sweet sugary smell filled my gym bag as I lifted its limp, dark brown body from the bottom. It still had its price sticker on it... poor little banana.

Oh well, others will come.
It was time to wash that bag anyway :)

chest and biceps

I had a good work out, it's THE feeling of freedom that mostly feeds my hunger :)

I got so used to using only 6kg dumbbells with This move (last year) so I'm Pleasantly surprised that I can now go as high as 9kg dumbells if I want to :)

I actually started with long sets with 5kgs and kept climbing up 'til I reached 9kgs (and still got a short set out of it). The 10kg dumbbells were a bit too heavy. Maybe next month ;)





Them drunks

I don't like drunks and people who are full of drugs and super happy and smell like shit and come too close and want to touch my belly and "always know someone who also had a baby" (like I give a shit about their friends...)...
Those darn drunks better stay away from my belly and our massage place :/

(yes, they didn't stay away today... Neither did I.
Attack is the best defense, but I have to think about my boy too... next time I'll just use smoke bombs or call the guards or something?)

Stupid drunks and their smelly teeth and shitty clothes and all that shit! :O

27 weeks preg. and still lifting nicely...

Stupid week.
I got in (only) 2 gym days and 2 home work outs.
My home work outs didn't even pump me up. I was mostly just tired and "full" (I didn't wait a full hour or two after my dinner...) and nothing seemed to weigh enough :/
Stupid home work outs, stupid placebo work outs...

It's week 27 now and I'll probably have 10 more or what ever left...
Shoulder day was cut short because I had forgotten (AGAIN! STUPID!!!) that the -Frelling- gym closes at 1900. I got most of my work out done but I was hoping to make it a shoulders+quads day.

Klik-klik-boom... I got my self a front shoulders + quads pump day.
Well, I got a pump. Finally.
I also had a recovery banana, I called her "Lil' bitch Bonnie" and devoured her like a pissed off chimp when I walked away from my ½ shit work out.

Oh well, sometimes you have to fail to feel the glory on other days...

Aargh.

At least our son has had a fun week end. I spent most of it in first aid classes freshening up on my skills and knowledge :) Little man kept pushing and kicking and listening to his mom go on and on about "the real world of accidents and near death stuff"... :)

8 days of Rest

So...
I rested for 8 days.
Huh.

Tonight I had my first gym work out: shoulders and hams.

It went ok. I didn't get a good pump or anything but I did some poses and noticed that I need to STRETCH more if I want my muscles to flex RIGHT! :)

26 weeks pregnant and no pump! But my belly looks bigger...


One year from now I'm sure I'll be smiling :) ...and NO MORE belly! :D

Oh, and bigger muscles, YES!
